From small to full turnkey projects we follow the following process from start to finish:
1. Get in contact

To simplify the process, please complete our questionnaire and we will contact you as soon as possible.
2. first meet
Whether it’s a small-scale endeavour or a comprehensive turnkey project, our process ensures a seamless journey from start to finish. Here’s a breakdown of our approach during the first meeting:
Consultation: We’ll schedule a meeting at the location where you seek our design expertise. During this session, we’ll attentively listen to your requirements, understanding your desires and needs for the space.
Strategy and Ideation: Armed with a comprehensive understanding of your vision, we’ll engage in a collaborative exchange of ideas, continuously refining and expanding upon concepts. Through this process, we’ll work towards developing a clearer and more cohesive vision for the space. This meeting will also serve as a foundation for setting up a subsequent meeting.
Measurements: During this meeting, we’ll also take precise measurements to ensure accurate planning and execution. These measurements will provide us with the necessary information to prepare a detailed quotation that aligns with your project requirements.
3. second meet
Now, the exciting part begins! I will bring a range of samples for us to explore, including wallpaper, paint, fabric, tiles, and various sources of inspiration. This process holds immense significance as we will be evaluating the samples within the actual space where they will be utilized. Understanding how light influences these samples is crucial in making informed decisions.
During this meeting, we will collectively determine the desired outcome and make choices regarding the development of the final products. It is a pivotal step that ensures we achieve the desired aesthetics and functionality of the space.
4. Design
Depending on the size of the project and the clients needs we can do 3D designs and spacial layouts to aid in the decision-making process. This service does come at an additional price that will be discussed with the client in advance. This process includes moodboards, renders, legends and shopping list items.
5. Quote
After carefully considering all the discussions we’ve had, I will prepare a detailed quotation tailored to your specific needs. It’s important to note that this process may take some time due to the customisation involved in most of our products. Everything we offer is meticulously crafted and personalised to suit your project requirements.
I kindly request your patience as I devote myself to this task, often working late at night after installations or busy days attending to various designer responsibilities. Rest assured, I am dedicated to providing you with an exceptional and meticulously crafted quotation.
6. production and install
Once the client accepts the quotation and a deposit is made, we start the manufacturing process of the items. We diligently handle the shopping and place orders to acquire the necessary materials. As we seamlessly integrate into the production line, we plan the installation process and prepare all the items for the designated install dates.
At Luminous, we take great pride in personally handling the majority of our installations. We firmly believe in being present on-site during every installation, ensuring a seamless and successful execution. Equipped with the necessary expertise and resources, we confidently tackle any obstacles that may arise during the installation process.
7. PHOTO SHOOT
Let’s capture the essence of your new home through a captivating photo shoot, where our clients are welcome to strike a pose if they desire.
